Where a full retrofit lock is a poor fit, a smart cylinder is often the better route. It works inside the existing mortice lock body. Consequently the door and the building keep their character, while you still gain app or keypad access.
Keypad, app access and the mechanical fallback
Most smart locks offer keypad entry, app access from a phone, or both. Some also give one-time guest codes. Whichever you choose, a mechanical key or backup code stays in place. Because of this, a flat battery, a software fault or no signal will not leave you outside.
We test the fallback and show you how it works before we leave. We do not leave it to chance. If we need to open a stuck door during the job, we try non-destructive entry first.

Smart lock brands differ in retrofit fit, battery life and mechanical security. Some are strong on convenience, yet weak on lock rating. For that reason we match the model to what you need the lock to do.
