What we fit
London bars are surface-mounted steel bars that span the door and lock into the frame. They deter intruders, and they give a physical barrier against forced entry. Door chains let you open the door a few centimetres while it stays secured. We use a strong chain and a sturdy keep that resists pulling.
Spyholes, also called door viewers, give a wide view of the hallway without opening the door. Standard lenses cover 180 or 200 degrees, so a single glance shows who is there. Hinge bolts sit on the hinge side to stop the door being lifted off, which is a common attack on outward-opening doors. Letterbox restrictors shrink the opening, so tools or hands cannot reach the lock inside.
